Northern lights packages

Few places close to Tromsø offer better conditions to experience the Northern Lights than Malangen, home to Malangen Brygger, one of Northern Norway’s leading tourist resorts. Choose between accommodation in luxurious hotel room, apartment or modern fishermen’s cottage. 

Malangen Brygger offers a pleasant restaurant  and bar as well as a wide variety of winter activities such as snowshoeing and kick-sledding and a two-course dinner served outdoors. Your guide will explain about life in Northern Norway, about the Northern Lights and tell local stories. Our collaboration partners offer dogsledding, reindeer sledding and snowmobile safaris (supplementary activities). 

We are currently offering two northern lights packages, where we will be chasing the northern lights with you. In addition trying several of the traditional Norwegian activities that are fun for the whole family. We also serve traditional Northern Norwegian food, using local produce and ingredients.

The first package includes two night’s accommodation in hotel room, appartment or fishermen’s cottage, a two-course dinner in the restaurant, Northern Lights chase by snowshoes and kick-sled trip, wilderness camp with two-course dinner and a transfer by bus (60 min one way).

Price: NOK 2990,- pr. person

The bus will do pick-up in Tromsø Grand Rica Hotel at 5.30 PM and 6.30 PM at Tromsø Airport, every Monday and Wednesday. Return on either Wednesday or Friday.

 

The second package is a weekend-package, which includes three night’s accommodation in hotel room, appartment or fisherman’s cottage, a two-course dinner in the restaurant, Northern Lights chase by snowshoes and kick-sled trip, wilderness camp with two-course dinner and a transfer by bus (60 min one way).

Price: NOK 3995,- pr. person

The bus will do pick-up in Tromsø Grand Rica Hotel at 5.30 PM, and 6.30 PM at Tromsø Airport, every Friday. Return on Monday.
